5th Alumni Advisory Board (AAB) Meeting

The Department of Civil Engineering, FAST-NUCES Lahore Campus, hosted its 5th Alumni Advisory Board (AAB) Meeting on October 14, 2026, reaffirming its commitment to building meaningful connections between academia and its accomplished alumni community. The meeting brought together departmental representatives and distinguished alumni to exchange professional experiences, share valuable perspectives, and explore opportunities for continuous improvement in Civil Engineering education. Departmental Representatives: Dr. Tauqir Ahmed – Head of Department, Civil Engineering, Dr. Shahid Ali – Head of Alumni Advisory Board (AAB), Dr. Muhammad Umar, P.Engg. – DQEC Coordinator, Engr. Muhammad Umar Khan Niazi – DQEC Analyst, Dr. Fahad Haseeb – AAB Coordinator
Distinguished Alumni Members: Musa Dar, Hassan Ajmal, P.E., Farhan Saleem, Maliha Iqbal, Saif Ali, Umar Waseem, and Hassan Syed. The discussions emphasized bridging academic learning with professional practice, strengthening alumni participation, identifying emerging industry expectations, and creating opportunities for future collaboration.
