Reigniting the Spirit of Debate at FAST-NUCES Lahore Campus! The Voice Debating Society hosted its Orientation Debate on September 24, 2026, bringing together students and experienced alumni to engage in thought-provoking parliamentary debate. The session featured the motion, “This House, as Joshua, will choose to be reborn as the tyrant rather than the slave,” encouraging participants to explore complex questions surrounding morality, power, suffering, privilege, agency, and choice. Guest alumni speakers Hassan Rafique, Wassi Sheikh, and Ahmed Pervaiz joined student speakers Taha Tahir, Faiq Saeed, and Eurwa Zaidi, with the session judged by Syed Ali Osjah Bukhari. With an audience of over 200 students, the event marked a meaningful step towards strengthening debating culture at FAST-NUCES Lahore Campus and building a vibrant, connected, and intellectually engaged debating community.
