During the visit of Dr. Hamid Hassan, Head of the FAST School of Management, FAST-NUCES, to Sri Lanka, an initial agreement was signed to promote cooperation in the areas of academics and research between FAST-NUCES and Rajarata University of Sri Lanka.The EOI signing ceremony marks the beginning of academic and research collaboration between the two institutions. The agreement outlines a mutual commitment to fostering cooperation through joint research initiatives, faculty collaboration, student engagement, and the organization of joint conferences, seminars, and training programs.This initial agreement also initiates the formal process for establishing a comprehensive Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between FAST-NUCES and Rajarata University. Following the signing, the proposed MoU will proceed through the statutory bodies of Rajarata University for the necessary approvals, including endorsement from the Government of Sri Lanka.Both institutions expressed optimism that, with continued cooperation and commitment, this collaboration will develop into a full MoU in the coming months, further strengthening academic and research ties between Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
