The Global Leaders Initiative (GLI), FAST-NUCES Lahore Campus, successfully conducted a guest lecture titled “Global Academic Pathways and Research Excellence in Canada – led by the Brock University International Recruitment Team” on Thursday, 29 January 2026, from 02:00 PM to 04:00 PM at the Old Auditorium.The session featured Ms. Anna Guo, Director of International Student Recruitment at Brock University, Canada, and Dr. Usman Raja, Associate Dean of Research and Graduate Programs at the Goodman School of Business. The speakers shared valuable insights into global academic pathways, student mobility, and research opportunities at Brock University.Key discussions covered undergraduate and graduate program options, research excellence at a Top 50 Canadian research university, co-op programs, scholarship opportunities, and the integration of engineering and management for future leadership roles.The session was attended by students from Engineering, Computing, and Business disciplines at FAST-NUCES Lahore Campus, who actively engaged with the speakers during the interactive discussion. The event successfully enhanced awareness of international academic and research opportunities in Canada and further strengthened institutional linkages between FAST-NUCES Lahore Campus and Brock University.
