The Global Leaders Initiative (GLI), FAST-NUCES Lahore Campus, successfully conducted the seminar “Academic Research Partnerships and Global Postgraduate Opportunities”, led by Dr. Muhammad Ijaz, on Monday, 26 January 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Old Auditorium.The session was delivered by Dr. Muhammad Ijaz, Associate Professor and Department International Lead at Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU), UK. He highlighted international academic collaborations, joint research opportunities in emerging fields, and postgraduate pathways for FAST-NUCES graduates. The discussion also covered details of the £5,000 postgraduate scholarship, including eligibility criteria requiring a minimum academic standing of 70%.The seminar was attended by students and alumni from multiple disciplines, who actively engaged with the speaker throughout the session. The event successfully enhanced awareness of global academic opportunities and strengthened academic linkages between FAST-NUCES and MMU.
