The Electrical Engineering Department, FAST-NUCES Lahore Campus, organized a hands-on workshop titled “Build & Deploy AI on Embedded Systems” on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in the Embedded Systems Lab. The session proved highly informative and engaging.Dr. Usman Abbasi, In-charge of the Electrical Engineering Department and Assistant Professor at FAST-NUCES Peshawar Campus, conducted the workshop. Embedded AI is an advanced and rapidly growing field with applications in healthcare, robotics, IoT, and smart systems. This workshop aimed to introduce students and faculty to the core concepts of Embedded AI while providing practical experience in implementing intelligent algorithms on hardware platforms. The goal was to equip participants with the skills and confidence needed to work on real-world AI-driven embedded systems.The resource person appreciated the active participation of students and shared positive feedback regarding their interest, responsiveness, and technical understanding. Certificates were awarded to participating students in recognition of their involvement, while a shield was presented to Dr. Usman Abbasi by the Head of the Electrical Engineering Department, Dr. Saima Zafar, in appreciation of his contribution.Overall, the workshop was a highly productive and enriching learning experience for all participants.
