FAST-NUCES Lahore Campus successfully hosted a thought-provoking Guest Speaker Session on “Sustainable Business Strategies” on November 26, 2025, at the Syed Rafaqat Ali Auditorium.The event brought together faculty and FAST School of Management students for an enriching learning experience focused on environmental responsibility and the future of sustainable business.The session featured two insightful talks:
Ms. Carlotta Dentico (Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, Italy) delivered “Ocean Acidification in The Context of Blue Economy: Scientific and Economic Approaches.”
Mr. Waseem Irshad (Tangent Technologies, Islamabad) presented “Digital Responsibility: The Environmental Impacts of IT and How to Mitigate Them.”Engaging Q&A segments, meaningful discussions, and closing remarks rounded off the program, giving participants a clearer understanding of sustainability challenges and the role of business, technology, and science in building a responsible future.
