We were delighted to host Mr. Waqar Ali, Head of IT at Din Textile Mills for an engaging and intellectually stimulating session with our Enterprise Information System (BSFT Semester 5) and Business Decision Models (BBA Semester 7) students at FAST School of Management, FAST-NUCES Lahore Campus. The session focused on how Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, particularly SAP S/4HANA, are driving digital transformation in Pakistan’s manufacturing, retail, beverage, FMCGs industry, from process automation and data integration to real-time decision-making. The guest speaker shared his extensive experience across multiple industries, which allowed students to connect their theoretical knowledge with the practical examples. Students gained valuable insights into the strategic role of ERP in integrating business processes, improving business performance and how technology, people, and processes align in successful transformation journeys.
