The Department of Electrical Engineering at FAST-NUCES, Lahore Campus, organized an industrial tour for the Batch of 2023 to Strategic Systems International (SSI) on October 15, 2025. The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure to industry operations and emerging trends in engineering applications. The SSI team warmly welcomed the students, and the session began with an engaging presentation highlighting the company’s expertise in data services, artificial intelligence, and machine learning solutions. The speakers also shared valuable insights into SSI’s hiring process, interview procedures, and selection criteria, helping students understand industry expectations. Additionally, the session included guidance on Final Year Project (FYP) selection, career development, and essential technical and soft skills needed for professional growth. The visit concluded with a tour of the facility, where students observed how projects are managed and workflows are streamlined within a real corporate environment.
