Career Day Industry Tour l Manafa

As part of the Career Day Industry Tour organized by the Career Counseling Society (CCS), the students visited Manafa, where they were warmly welcomed by Ms. Sirosh, the Head of Human Resources. The visit commenced with a presentation on the transition from academia to industry, providing students with valuable insights into the skills and mindset required to bridge the gap between education and professional life. Following this, a brief introduction to Manafa’s organizational vision, operations, and industry presence was shared. This was succeeded by a panel discussion featuring a diverse group of Manafa representatives, including data engineers, cybersecurity experts, and product managers. The interactive session allowed students to engage in a rigorous question-and-answer exchange, gaining first-hand knowledge of industry practices, career opportunities, and professional challenges. After the panel discussion, refreshments were served, giving students an opportunity to network in an informal setting. Students were then encouraged to explore the workplace environment, interact with employees, and observe the organizational culture. The visit concluded with the recording of student testimonials, capturing their reflections and key takeaways from the experience. Overall, the industry tour to Manafa proved to be a highly informative and engaging learning experience, equipping students with practical insights into the professional world while fostering meaningful industry-academia connections.
