World Heart Day was organized with the purpose of raising awareness about cardiovascular health, highlighting the importance of prevention, and encouraging students to adopt heart healthy habits in their daily lives. The event focused on educating the audience about the rising prevalence of heart diseases and the simple lifestyle changes that can significantly reduce risks, promoting a culture of care and well being within the student community. The event was held on 30 September 2025 in the New Auditorium from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. It was organized by FAST Care Society in collaboration with Himmel Pharmacy. Students gathered to learn more about heart health and ways to take proactive measures to protect themselves and their loved ones. The highlight of the event was the talk delivered by Dr. Ahmad Muqeet, Associate Professor in the Department of Cardiology at Jinnah Hospital. Dr. Muqeet shared his expertise on cardiovascular problems, discussed early warning signs, and emphasized preventive practices such as maintaining a balanced diet, regular exercise, and stress management. His session was highly engaging and enlightening, providing valuable insights that resonated deeply with the audience. The response from participants was very positive, as many students appreciated the opportunity to learn directly from an experienced cardiologist.
