The Foreign Scholarships Seminar 2025, hosted by the Global Leaders Initiative (GLI) at FAST-NUCES Lahore, was a resounding success. The event saw a full house, with attendance extending beyond FAST-NUCES students to participants from other universities as well. Although entry was reserved for those who registered two days prior, the overwhelming interest highlighted the relevance and importance of the topic. The session was led by Mr. Waqar Baig, Head of the International Office at FAST-NUCES, who provided insightful guidance on international scholarships, eligibility criteria, and effective application strategies. Students showed remarkable enthusiasm throughout the seminar and actively engaged in discussions. The event concluded with an extended Q&A session lasting almost one hour, where participants posed diverse and thoughtful questions regarding scholarship opportunities. Mr. Waqar Baig addressed each query with clarity and depth, leaving students better prepared and motivated to pursue their academic aspirations abroad.
