Orientation Session for newly hired faculty members

FAST-NUCES Lahore Campus, through its Institutional Quality Assessment & Effectiveness (IQAE) Department in collaboration with the HR Department, organized an Orientation Session for newly hired faculty members on September 12, 2025. The session aimed to introduce faculty to innovative teaching techniques while familiarizing them with the university’s culture and norms. Key modules included: HR Policies – Presented by Mr. Nasir Tufail, Deputy Manager (HR)
Domain Specific Training, Ed-Tech Innovations, ICT tools (Flex, Google Classroom, Google Meet) & OBE – Presented by Dr. Arshad Ali, HoD, Department of Cyber Security Qualities of a Good Teacher, Classroom Management, Student Motivation, Exam Conduct, Semester Operations, Invigilation & Ethical Practices – Presented by Dr. Zahida Mansoor, Assistant Professor, Department of Science & Humanities The session was well-attended by all new faculty members, who actively participated in discussions and expressed their gratitude to the resource persons, IQAE, and the university for arranging such an insightful program.
The event concluded with a group photo to commemorate the occasion.
