Cultural Exchange: Dr. Chaminda Hettiarachchi (HEC Pak–Sri Lanka Faculty Exchange Scholar)

We were delighted to host a guest lecture by Dr. Chaminda Hettiarachchi (HEC Pak–Sri Lanka Faculty Exchange Scholar) at FAST-NUCES Lahore Campus on Wednesday, 27th August 2025. Dr. Hettiarachchi shared valuable insights on building industry–academia linkages using S&T labs, and highlighted partnership opportunities between Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the Higher Education sector. He also introduced individual funding avenues, research opportunities, and institutional partnership programs for Pakistani scholars and HEIs. With his diverse global experience in Industry 4.0, digital transformation, and S&T-driven socio-economic development, Dr. Hettiarachchi’s session provided both faculty and students with forward-looking perspectives on collaboration and growth.
