The Department of Electrical Engineering arranged an interactive and informative session on Artificial Intelligence on 27th November,2024 for final year students. The speaker, Dr. Muhammad Akmal, has over 10 years of academic experience; his research interests encompass application of machine learning and deep learning in healthcare. Participants explored the fundamentals of AI, including machine learning, deep learning and computer vision while understanding ethical considerations and societal implications.Through an expert-led session and real-world case studies, attendees gained insight into AI's applications in fields like healthcare, finance and education. The seminar concluded with the distribution of certificates to students and shields to the speaker.
