ACM Society organized an insightful talk on Human Factors in Cybersecurity by Dr. Nida Bajwa from Saarland University, hosted by the cybersecurity department. The session attracted a large audience, demonstrating a strong interest in the topic. Dr. Bajwa provided in-depth insights into human vulnerabilities in phishing, impersonation, and AI-driven scams, supported by real-world case studies and academic research. Following the 40-minute presentation, a 20-minute interactive session was conducted in the form of a survey. Students answered questions related to cybersecurity awareness and human vulnerabilities, which provided valuable insights into their understanding and perspectives on cybersecurity threats.
