Career Counselling Society arranged an Industry Trip to Arfa Karim Tower on 7 October, 2022

in collaboration with ACM. The trip was the first of its kind where CCS took a diverse pool of 35 students from all batches and departments. Students toured the following places:

-METRO Bus Command & Control Center

-PITB Data Center

-ITU Orientation, Labs etc

-Plan 9 Incubating Center

-Ozi Technologies

The tour went really smoothly and it was really well organized on the Arfa Tower management’s part as well. Students took keen interest in the tour and asked really thoughtful questions throughout the trip. Gratitude goes out to the students of ITU for showing the students around as well. All the points that were visited were properly explained by the employees there. Students were given introductory presentations by Plan 9 and Ozi Technologies that peaked students’ interests. Employees also gave out their contact information and students were able to make really valuable industry connections as well.

Industry Trips like these are a tremendous opportunity for the students get a firsthand experience of the industry and help decide their own trajectory, know the things they are interested in, see the company environment and make connections with the professionals.
