The servant of Allah need only act and he will find that his Lord is well within his reach, for every step towards Him is reciprocated tenfold by the Most Merciful. The understanding and application of this relationship between Allah and His servants is the crux of success, and achieving closeness to your Lord is indeed achieving a manifest victory. We need only arise and walk towards our Creator and He will run towards us. Know that your Lord is ever near, and that He will never let your efforts go to waste.
So start putting efforts in the relationship with Allah, and connect with people with the intent of enabling them to get closer to their Lord.
