Entrepreneurs of Shajar-e-Umeed at FSM visited Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) to attend a seminar on “How to Be Successful Entrepreneurs” as part of the course deliverable for Entrepreneurship. LCCI aims to be the finest organization to serve the business community and to conduct its practices in the best possible professional manner. It acts as a bridge between the business community and regulatory bodies for policy advocacy. LCCI provides various resources for aspiring entrepreneurs to give them a sense of direction. These include capacity building in areas of weakness, opportunities to collaborate with experts of the chamber, feasibility report for guidance, and Patent, Intellectual Property Rights, Trademark and Logo Registration offices ready to assist them. The initiative taken by our professor Mr.Shahid Malik motivated the students to gain insightful knowledge from the Panel of esteemed guests. It consisted of members from current and former Executive Committee including Vice President Mr. Faheem Ur Rehman Saigal, former EC members Ms. Tehmeena Saeed Chaudhry and Mr. Rehmatullah Javed, and Standing Committee member Mr. Syed Mukhtar Ali. The panel shared their success stories of how they became entrepreneurs who rose to such lucrative positions. Every story was inspiring and gave the attendees the motivation to strive for excellence. Resilience and hard work were two qualities that existed in every speaker.
