The members of Industrial Collaboration Committee, under the leadership of Dr. Ali Afzal Malik, met with the CEO of Rareiio, Mellonie Francis, to discuss steps to improve collaboration between the Academia and the Industry. Various ways for collaboration came under discussion, ranging from involvement of BS(CS) students in industry projects to involvement of PhD students in research-oriented projects.

After a fruitful discussion, it was decided that a team from Rareiio would select a list of project ideas and share with CS department of FAST-NUCES, Lahore. The ideas would then be emailed to the final year students, aiming to take Final Year Project in the upcoming Spring 2020 semester. After tracking the progress of the students over the year, they could be offered job at Rareiio, and further collaboration can be looked upon.
