Power and Energy Systems Research Lab (PESRL)
The PESRL, headed by Prof. Dr. Aun Abbas, undertakes research in the field of electrical power, renewable energy, and smart grids. The theme of the research at PESRL is to discover the right approach and technologies for a “Smart Power Grid” that integrates distributed renewable generation and solves power quality issues specific to the developing nations. Research in power and energy systems holds significant potential for a wide range of applications and can have a substantial impact on various industries. The core areas of the PESRL are as follows:
