FAST-NUCES Lahore Holds 10th Departmental Industrial Advisory Board Meeting

The Department of Electrical Engineering, FAST-NUCES Lahore, convened its 10th Departmental Industrial Advisory Board (DIAB) Meeting on 16 October 2026. Held online to facilitate participation by Advisory Board members and faculty across different locations, the meeting provided a valuable forum for strengthening industry–academia collaboration and ensuring continued alignment of academic programs with evolving industry needs.
Key areas of discussion included:
- PEC Accreditation:Preparations for the upcoming accreditation visit.
- Curriculum Development: Introduction and updating of courses in Electric Vehicles, Biomedical Instrumentation, Software Engineering, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.
- Industry Engagement:Enhancing industrial visits, career seminars, and leadership development workshops.
- Continuous Improvement: Review and approval of PEOs and PLOs assessment results, along with recommendations for improvement. Discussions also covered strengthening internship processes and enhancing mechanisms for continuous quality improvement.
