An inspiring seminar for final year students on innovation and entrepreneurial thinking

On March 6, 2026, FAST-NUCES Lahore Campus had the honor of hosting Prof. Dr. Shahid Qureshi, Rector of GIFT University, who delivered an engaging workshop on Entrepreneurship, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Fakhar Lodhi. The session highlighted the principles of entrepreneurship with a strong focus on effectuation theory, offering valuable insights on how aspiring entrepreneurs can build ventures with limited resources and minimal external funding. Drawing from his experience as former Director of the Centre of Entrepreneurship at IBA Karachi, Dr. Qureshi emphasized the importance of innovation, adaptability, and opportunity-driven thinking.
The workshop was attended by students from the Electrical Engineering Department and faculty members, making it a highly enriching and impactful experience for all.
