On 20th November, the Department of Electrical Engineering arranged an industrial tour to Orient Electronics as part of their NextGen Program. Students were warmly welcomed and given an insightful introduction to Orient’s journey and its rise as one of Pakistan’s leading electronics manufacturers.

During the visit, students explored the production floors and observed real-time manufacturing of refrigerators, air conditioners, and microwave ovens—bridging the gap between academic learning and modern industrial practices. To make the experience interactive and memorable, the Orient team conducted a fun icebreaking activity and a quiz session, where winners received exciting goody bags. The tour proved both enriching and enjoyable, offering third-year students valuable industry exposure and a deeper understanding of electronics manufacturing.
