Hands-On Learning for Intelligent Embedded Systems.

The Electrical Engineering Department, FAST-NUCES Lahore Campus, organized a hands-on workshop titled “Build & Deploy AI on Embedded Systems” on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at the Embedded Systems Lab. The workshop offered an engaging and practical introduction to Embedded AI, an emerging field with applications in healthcare, robotics, IoT, and smart systems.
The session was conducted by Dr. Usman Abbasi, In-charge of the Electrical Engineering Department and Assistant Professor at FAST-NUCES Peshawar Campus. The workshop focused on core concepts of Embedded AI and provided participants with hands-on experience in deploying intelligent algorithms on hardware platforms, enabling them to confidently address real-world AI-driven embedded system challenges.
Dr. Abbasi appreciated the students’ active participation and strong technical engagement. Certificates were awarded to participating students, and a commemorative shield was presented to Dr. Usman Abbasi by the Head of the Electrical Engineering Department, Dr. Saima Zafar, in recognition of his valuable contribution.
Overall, the workshop proved to be a productive and enriching learning experience for all attendees.
