PEC Re-Accreditation Visit to the Department of Electrical Engineering at FAST-NUCES, Lahore

The Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) conducted its official re-accreditation visit to the Department of Electrical Engineering, FAST-NUCES Lahore, from June 30 to July 1, 2025. The visit was carried out for the re-accreditation of the BS Electrical Engineering program for Batch 2021 and onward.
The evaluation team was led by Prof. Dr. Gulistan Raja (Team Lead), accompanied by Dr. Usman Zabit, Dr. Muhammad Faisal Khan, and Engr. Shahab Khattak (PEC Representative). The purpose of the visit was to assess the department’s academic and administrative practices under the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) framework. The PEC team was warmly received by Dr. Sumaira Sarfraz (Campus Director), Dr. Mukhtar Ullah (Dean, Faculty of Engineering), Dr. Saima Zafar (Head of Department, EE), Dr. Omer Saleem (OBE Coordinator, EE), and senior faculty members.
The two-day evaluation concluded with an exit meeting on July 1, 2025, where the PEC team shared valuable feedback and observations. The visit highlights the department’s continued commitment to academic excellence, quality assurance, and adherence to international engineering education standards.
