Electrical Safety and Fire Drill Training for EE Faculty at FAST NUCES Lahore

The Department of Electrical Engineering at FAST NUCES Lahore organized a training workshop on Electrical Safety and Fire Extinguisher Usage, followed by a fire drill, for its faculty on March 7, 2025 between 11.30 am – 12.30 pm. The session, led by Mr. Khalid Ijaz (Lecturer, EE Dept.), aimed to enhance awareness of fire hazards, emergency response protocols, and workplace safety measures. Experts conducted hands-on demonstrations on the correct use of fire extinguishers, identifying electrical fire risks, and implementing preventive safety measures. Faculty members actively participated in the fire drill, reinforcing their ability to respond effectively to fire emergencies. This initiative underscores the department’s commitment to ensuring a safe and prepared academic environment, equipping faculty with the necessary skills to handle fire-related incidents.
