The Department of Electrical Engineering at FAST NUCES Lahore successfully organized a CPD workshop (0.5 credits) titled “Conduct of Effective Assessments under the OBE Paradigm” on February 2, 2024. The workshop was conducted by Ms. Beenish Fatima, Ms. Sara Kiran, and Mr. Hamza Yousuf. The session aimed to refine assessment strategies within the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) framework. The workshop covered key aspects of designing and implementing effective assessment methods aligned with OBE principles. Participants explored techniques for evaluating student learning outcomes, mapping assessments to program objectives, and ensuring continuous quality improvement in education. The interactive session provided valuable insights into best practices for formative and summative assessments, enabling faculty to enhance student engagement and academic performance effectively.
