Students from the Electrical Engineering Department, FAST NUCES Lahore, visited LESCO’s 132kV Grid Station in DHA Phase V on April 24, 2024, for an educational industrial tour. The students received an overview of LESCO’s operations and explored key grid components, including transformers, relays, and battery banks. They also gained valuable insights into transformer types and protection mechanisms. The visit concluded with an interactive session where students engaged in discussions with industry professionals, enhancing their understanding of real-world power systems and engineering practices.
