In a significant achievement, five final-year projects from the Department of Electrical Engineering, FAST-NUCES Lahore, have been selected for funding under the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) Financing of Final Year Design Projects (2023 - 2024). These projects, supervised by Mr. Hamza Yousuf, Ms. Akbari Yaqub, and Ms. Samia Mahmood, reflect the department’s commitment to innovation and excellence in engineering education.

To mark this milestone, PEC invited FAST-NUCES to a funding distribution ceremony held at the PEC Regional Office, Lahore, on January 31, 2024. The event was graced by Engr. Muhammad Najeeb Haroon, Chairman PEC, who distributed the first installment of the funding. Faculty advisors and student representatives of the selected projects attended the ceremony to receive the grants, reinforcing the university’s strong presence in national-level engineering initiatives.
