Profile
Dr. Mubashir Aziz, experienced in Engineering Education Research Program Assessment & Accreditation, is an Associate Professor at the Department of Civil Engineering, National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences Lahore Pakistan. He is also an Academic Member of the Civil Engineering Unit at Athens Institute for Education & Research, Greece. He has more than 16 years of experience in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, research, and consultancy in geotechnical engineering at national and international platforms. Before joining FAST NU Lahore in July 2018 he has served Al-Imam University in Riyadh Saudi Arabia for 6 years and UET Lahore Pakistan for 10 years. To expand his professional exposure, he also worked as Geotechnical Expert for Riyadh Metro Project Geotechnical Investigations. He has published many research articles in well-reputed journals and conference proceedings along with supervising many undergraduate and graduate theses. He has received Distinguished Research Awards during three consecutive years (2015, 2016, 2017) for his publications.
Dr. Mubashirs main responsibilities over the last few years were to implement accreditation requirements (ABET and NCAAA) to civil engineering program. During this period, he has delivered many training sessions to faculty members on course and program outcome assessment, initiated various advisory boards, and developed simple applications to assess course and program outcomes.
