Dr Arslan has done his PhD in International Economics and MS (Finance and Economics) from Université of Orléans, Orléans, France. Prior to that he did MBIT (Master in Business and Information Technology) from University of the Punjab. During his stay at Université of Orléans, he worked as Teaching Assistant and Research Fellow in Economics for two years. Dr Arslan is currently working on a project titled; "Improving Education Standards: Do Preferential Trade Agreements matter? Policy implications for Pakistan". This project is jointly funded by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan and Ministry of Education and Research, France and Dr Arslan is Principal Investigator from Pakistan side. The Principal Investigator on the French side is Isabelle Rabaud, Associate Professor in Economics at Université of Orléans. Dr Arsalan's areas of research interest are Regional/Bilateral Trade Agreements, Development Economics and Applied Econometrics.|
